After graduating from University of Münster with a state exam in German and French philology I went straight into adult education. Since 1981, I have been working at the Adult Education Centre Herford and Osnabrück as a lecturer for all levels of German and French.

In my courses, beyond simply teaching a language, I keep an informal, lively and friendly atmosphere to let participants get to know the new language in an undaunting, relaxed, fun and easy way. I aim to establish a bind of trust and friendship between teacher and participants. I also do my best to take into account every participants individual learning situation (problems of everyday life, stresses at work or at school) and to adjust their learning speed. Thus I am delighted to look back at courses that have been running with the same students for more than 25 years! This longevity of my courses gives evidence to the fact that participants simply have fun in my lessons and are enjoying themselves learning.
